SAP ABAP Consultant

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical SAP solutions based on functional specifications
• Maintain the stability and performance of the legacy ECC ERP platform during a strategic transition to modern solutions
• Prioritize assigned tasks and provide production support, including debugging and troubleshooting
• Ensure all programming and modifications are documented according to group guidelines and approved by architects
• Collaborate with functional leads, solution architects, and other IT areas to determine development feasibility
• Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance and follow best practices in development and mapping
• Assist in ensuring that new processes and functions are coordinated within existing system operations

Requirements

• Technical bachelor’s degree
• 4-6 years of proven full-time experience in ABAP programming
• In-depth knowledge of ABAP programming
• Strong understanding of business processes including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Financial/Costing
• Experience using JIRA, Xurrent, or comparable project management tools
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP FIORI apps
• Experience in global implementations and shared services environments
• Ability to interact effectively with business and IT teams across Europe, Asia, and North America
