Sanitation Technician

Responsibilities

• Independently execute sanitation protocols for production equipment, machinery, and facility areas
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment in accordance with SOPs
• Accurately mix and use sanitation chemicals according to safety and usage guidelines
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation
• Support compliance with regulatory standards including GMP, FDA, and OSHA
• Assist with training and onboarding of junior Sanitation Technician team members
• Identify and escalate equipment malfunctions or deviations from cleaning standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of sanitation experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and equipment handling
• Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in wet or humid environments and around cleaning chemicals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
