Sanitation Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform basic cleaning tasks on production equipment, floors, walls, and general facility areas
• Follow sanitation procedures and safety protocols as directed
• Assist with disassembling simple equipment components for cleaning
• Properly handle, clean, and store sanitation tools and supplies
• Use cleaning chemicals safely while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
• Complete assigned cleaning checklists and report task completion to the shift lead
• Communicate equipment or sanitation issues to experienced technicians
• Participate in training and shadowing to learn sanitation best practices

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting is required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in wet or humid environments with exposure to cleaning chemicals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
