About the role
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and work areas within food production plants
- Dismantle and reassemble machinery to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely following all usage and safety guidelines
- Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure readiness for pre-op inspections
- Follow all regulatory safety protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE, and HAZCOMM
- Work efficiently to complete all sanitation tasks within established timelines
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labor including bending, scrubbing, lifting, and using hoses
- Ability to stand for the entire shift in hot, cold, wet, or noisy environments
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in sanitation, food processing, or industrial cleaning
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
