Sanitation Technician

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and work areas in assigned plant sections
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment to ensure thorough cleaning
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely following all usage guidelines
• Inspect equipment and areas to confirm readiness for pre-op inspections
• Follow all company and regulatory safety protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out and PPE
• Work efficiently to complete sanitation tasks within established timelines

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor including bending, scrubbing, lifting, and using hoses
• Ability to stand for long periods in hot, cold, wet, or noisy environments
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Availability for overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in sanitation, food processing, or industrial cleaning
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
