Sanitation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all aspects of the food production facility, including equipment, floors, surfaces, and walls.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas, break rooms, restrooms, and office spaces.
• Check and restock cleaning supplies as needed while adhering to food and employee safety policies.
• Complete relevant food safety and quality documentation.
• Report any food safety or quality issues to authorized personnel immediately.
• Uphold procedures outlined in the Food Safety and Food Quality Plans.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or sanitation experience.
• Food certifications and licenses as required.
• Familiarity with cleaning solutions, including the preparation and dilution of chemicals.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
• Comfort working in environments with varying temperatures and noisy production settings.
