Sanitation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all aspects of the food production facility, including equipment, floors, surfaces, and walls
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, break rooms, restrooms, and office areas
• Check and restock supplies while adhering to food safety and employee safety policies
• Complete relevant food safety and quality documentation
• Report any food safety or quality problems to authorized personnel immediately
• Follow procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or sanitation experience
• Relevant food certifications and licenses
• Familiarity with cleaning solutions and the preparation/dilution of chemicals
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
• Comfort working in various environments, including hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions
