Sanitation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic cleaning throughout the factory, including production floors, overhead piping, vents, walls, and drains
• Maintain cleanliness of offices, cafeteria, restrooms, and locker rooms
• Manage chemical handling and sanitation cycles, including assisting with supply and calibration of dispensing units
• Execute Master Sanitation schedules and ensure equipment, carts, and foamers are organized and clean
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, PPE, and factory equipment
• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and environmental regulations regarding chemical disposal
• Conduct regular floor scrubbing and perimeter walks to ensure a presentable and safe facility

Requirements

• Experience with chemical handling and CIP (Clean-in-Place) sanitation procedures
• Previous experience in janitorial or industrial cleaning roles
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in wet, humid, or slippery environments
• Ability to work in varying temperatures ranging from 35°F to 100°F
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Capability to use hand tools for minor mechanical repairs and equipment maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and supply management
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with Production and Quality departments
