Sanitation Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead daily sanitation operations and supervise frontline employees to ensure proper staffing and effective cleaning processes
• Coordinate with client maintenance teams to verify lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensure equipment readiness
• Drive safety and food safety compliance by reinforcing PPE use, GMPs, SSOPs, and HAZCOMM practices
• Conduct equipment inspections before, during, and after sanitation to ensure readiness for production
• Partner with USDA/QA inspectors during pre-op inspections and maintain communication with client leadership
• Manage essential documentation including sanitation logs, deficiency reports, training records, and time/attendance
• Adjust staffing levels to meet operational needs and manage budgets responsibly

Requirements

• 2–3 years of sanitation leadership experience within a food processing environment
• Strong knowledge of USDA/FDA requirements, GMPs, SSOPs, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and chemical handling
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop hourly teams in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to work in various plant conditions (hot, cold, wet, loud)
