Sanitation Manager

Responsibilities

• Full ownership and management of the Sanitation Program
• Develop and update Sanitation Procedures, including chemical management and standard work documentation
• Lead Sanitation Validation, Risk Assessment, and Allergen Clean Validation
• Verify SSOP compliance and support weekend or night shifts as needed
• Train sanitation personnel and operations on procedures and chemical handling
• Manage departmental stock, inventory control, and equipment requisitions
• Perform employee performance evaluations and coaching
• Lead investigations for deviations in KPIs, Environmental Swabs, and ATP swabs
• Drive continuous improvement within sanitation programs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sanitation programs within CPG manufacturing
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including receiving, processing, packaging, and distribution
• Expertise in sanitary design, allergen management, and chemical cleaning validation
• Familiarity with SDS, PPE, and safety programs
• Understanding of FDA, SQF, and AIB safety protocols
• Ability to work all shifts and weekends as required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Food Science, or a relevant technical field (or equivalent experience)
