Sanitation Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping including sweeping floors and cleaning debris
• Clean up standing water and break down boxes for recycling
• Conduct scheduled cleaning of freezers, restrooms, and lunchrooms
• Use a forklift to empty garbage and monitor for pest control issues
• Complete daily SQF inspection logs
• Assist the receiving department as needed
• Operate heavy equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to use a pressure washer
• Ability to work at tall heights using a scissor lift
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (33 to 36 degrees F)
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment with heavy equipment and pedestrian traffic

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-year of previous janitorial experience
• Experience operating a pallet jack or forklift
