Sanding & Finishing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Sand and prepare fiberglass and composite antennas for painting and finishing
• Apply body fillers and compounds to smooth surfaces and correct minor imperfections
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Utilize hand and power tools, including dual action sanders and grinders
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety protocols

Requirements

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with fiberglass finishing, sanding, or surface preparation
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and written work orders
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by EAR/ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in aerospace, marine, or automotive finishing environments
• Basic computer skills for job tracking and data entry
