Sample Registration Administrator

Responsibilities

• Process and register samples with high accuracy and precision
• Ensure prompt receiving, handling, storage, and dispatch of samples
• Maintain accurate client details and database records
• Adhere to ISO 17025 quality requirements and laboratory protocols
• Respond to customer queries via phone, email, or in-person
• Manage sample tracking, retesting, and subcontracting
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace in accordance with HSE procedures
• Identify and report deviations to maintain the quality system

Requirements

• Qualification in Chemistry, Food Technology, Food Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry (National Diploma or B Sc.)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sample administration and registration within a high-throughput ISO 17025 food testing facility
• Knowledge of process flow within an analytical laboratory environment
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail under high pressure
• Ability to operate under minimum supervision
