Responsibilities

• Perform the entire sample preparation process (Reception, verification, work order generation in the system, label printing, coding, drying, crushing, splitting, homogenization, pulverization, and bagging)
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area and comply with area safety standards
• Perform activities based on established procedures, instructions, or tests according to established methods
• Carry out necessary controls in the execution of procedures and instructions
• Register the entry and distribution of samples
• Enter data into the system regarding preparation and/or testing
• Maintain control of sample and counter-sample storage

Requirements

• Completed secondary education or Technical Graduate (Minerals, Chemistry, and/or Metallurgy)
• Minimum 6 months of experience in Sample Preparation
• Knowledge of sample preparation and exploration or physical testing (not indispensable)
• Availability for rotating shifts
