Sample Preparer

Responsibilities

• Perform the complete sample preparation process including reception, verification, work order generation, labeling, drying, crushing, splitting, homogenization, pulverization, and bagging
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area and comply with safety standards
• Execute activities based on established procedures, instructions, or methods
• Perform necessary controls during the execution of procedures
• Register the entry and distribution of samples
• Enter data into the system regarding preparation and/or testing
• Control the storage of samples and counter-samples

Requirements

• Completed secondary education or technical degree in Minerals, Chemistry, and/or Metallurgy
• Minimum 6 months of experience in sample preparation
• Knowledge of sample preparation and exploration or physical testing (not mandatory)
• Availability for rotating shifts
