Sample Preparation Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical techniques related to established sample preparation procedures
• Ensure the quality and quantity of prepared samples results in a representative assay paste
• Conduct day shift maintenance on sample preparation equipment
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and housekeeping
• Follow all Q&HSE procedures and wear required PPE
• Maintain accurate record keeping and quality control documentation
• Monitor stock levels and report maintenance needs to management

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent bachelor's degree
• At least one year of experience in a similar position
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in operating sample preparation equipment
• Understanding of sample preparation procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift License
• Proficiency in English
