Sample Management Technician

Responsibilities

• Enter sample IDs and required tests from chains of custody into LIMS
• Receive and document sample containers and coolers
• Check aqueous samples for adequate preservation
• Create bottle records and generate labels
• Transfer samples between cold and ambient storage areas
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate sample info to laboratory departments
• Assist with sample preparation for various laboratories
• Handle client inquiries and potential courier pickups

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Proficient English language skills
• Basic mathematical and reasoning skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs constantly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an environmental laboratory
• Associate degree in a science-related field
