Sample Librarian

Responsibilities

• Fill sample requests and order missing samples for clients to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain sample room inventory and keep all levels current
• Manage the fabric area on the showroom floor, including merchandising, creating displays, and updating items
• Maintain textile price lists and ensure all pricing changes are accurate
• Handle client and sales associate requests regarding pricing, sample requests, and product identification
• Assist Outside Sales Associates by sending tear sheets and memo samples
• Manage shipping and receiving for showroom packages
• Maintain showroom appearance and ensure sales floor supplies are well-stocked
• Support showroom operations by answering telephones and acknowledging clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of experience in a retail, design, or showroom environment
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to lift between 20-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
