Sample Librarian

Responsibilities

• Fill sample requests and order missing samples to ensure timely client delivery
• Manage sample room inventory and maintain current stock levels
• Maintain the showroom fabric area by merchandising fabrics, creating displays, and updating items
• Update and maintain textile price lists and all related changes
• Manage showroom supplies, including shopping bags, memo pads, and marketing materials
• Handle client and sales associate requests regarding pricing, samples, and product identification
• Support Outside Sales Associates by sending tear sheets and memo samples
• Manage shipping and receiving for showroom packages
• Assist with answering telephones and maintaining the overall appearance of the showroom floor

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of experience in a retail, design, or showroom environment
• Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to lift between 20-50 lbs and remain on your feet for most of the day
