Sample Librarian

Responsibilities

• Fill sample requests and order missing samples for clients
• Maintain sample room inventory and keep all levels current
• Manage the fabric area on the showroom floor, including merchandising, creating displays, and updating items
• Maintain textile price lists and all related changes
• Handle client and sales associate requests via phone and in person regarding pricing and product identification
• Assist Outside Sales Associates by sending tear sheets and memo samples
• Manage shipping and receiving for showroom packages
• Maintain showroom appearance and ensure sales floor supplies are well-stocked
• Support general showroom operations, including answering telephones and ordering office supplies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of experience in a retail, design, or showroom environment
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to lift between 20-50 lbs
