Sample Lab Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily sample laboratory activities to ensure correct execution and timely delivery
• Manage and lead the laboratory team by distributing workloads and establishing priorities
• Supervise the preparation of various samples, including powders, liquids, emulsions, and dried products, ensuring quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with commercial, creative, quality, and planning departments to ensure efficient project flow
• Monitor laboratory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Manage raw material inventories to ensure continuous availability for internal use
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and food safety standards in all laboratory operations
• Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical, Food, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Proven experience in the food, flavors, or manufacturing industry
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and food safety
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating internal presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Experience in quality management, laboratory processes, and inventory management
