Salon Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Grow business within an assigned territory by identifying key accounts and establishing efficient sales routes
• Meet and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through product education and sales initiatives
• Prospect for new customers through cold calling, social media, and other digital outlets
• Conduct in-person and virtual product knowledge classes for salons, barbers, spas, and schools
• Manage administrative tasks including daily order entry and maintaining customer information in Salesforce.com
• Utilize social media platforms to build pipelines, attract clientele, and foster professional relationships
• Analyze accounts to determine necessary brand support, education, and promotions to drive growth
• Attend industry shows and events, including assisting with setup and dismantling of displays

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 1 year of outside sales experience or beauty industry experience with an emphasis on consultative selling
• Must reside within the assigned territory (Greensboro, Asheboro, Kernersville, High Point, or Winston Salem, NC)
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com and various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Ability to travel locally within the territory and attend industry shows, which may include overnight or weekend travel
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 25 lbs and prolonged periods of driving
