Salon Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Grow the assigned territory by identifying key accounts and establishing efficient routes to develop existing customers and find new partnerships.
• Drive salon sales by demonstrating products, implementing in-salon promotions, and offering tailored services to meet customer needs.
• Actively prospect for new customers through cold calling, social media, and other digital outlets.
• Manage administrative tasks including daily order entry and maintaining customer information within Salesforce.com.
• Conduct effective in-person and virtual product knowledge classes for salon professionals.
• Utilize social media platforms to build online communities, promote products, and attract new clientele.
• Attend industry shows, conventions, and educational events, including assisting with booth setup and dismantling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated outside sales experience or beauty industry experience with an emphasis on consultative selling.
• Must reside within the assigned territory (Ann Arbor, MI area).
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com and various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Outlook and mobile devices/iPads.
• Ability to travel locally within the territory and attend industry shows, which may include occasional overnight or weekend travel.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
