Salon Business Consultant

Responsibilities

• Grow salon territory sales through consultative selling and product education
• Identify key accounts and establish efficient routes to develop existing customers and find new partnerships
• Demonstrate and assist customers with in-salon promotions, programs, and product concepts
• Prospect for new customers through cold calling, social media, and digital outlets
• Conduct effective in-person and virtual product knowledge classes
• Manage administrative tasks including daily order entry and maintaining customer information in Salesforce.com
• Utilize social media platforms to build pipelines and attract/retain salon clientele
• Attend industry shows, conventions, and educational events

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of outside sales experience or beauty industry experience with an emphasis on consultative selling
• Must reside within the assigned territory (Colorado Springs, CO area)
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com and various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Ability to travel locally within the territory and attend industry events
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills
