About the role

Responsibilities

  • Refine and implement sales and marketing strategies to expand Citi's client footprint and maximize revenue.
  • Leverage professional networks to understand client needs and introduce Citi's financial offerings.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital in the capital markets.
  • Advise internal teams on strategic positioning and transaction closing, coordinating with structuring, trading, legal, and risk departments.
  • Forge strong relationships with internal salespeople to leverage the Citi franchise and source buying and selling opportunities.
  • Maintain rigorous governance and controls, working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk functions to ensure ethical business practices.
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward for all transactions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of sales experience within a financial services organization.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles working directly with the buy-side community.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain required licenses, including Series 3, 7, 55, and 63.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Extensive and broad existing client relationships within the financial sector.
