Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Salesforce releases to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Develop and maintain deployment scripts and tools to automate the release process.
• Manage and maintain version control systems, ensuring proper branching and merging strategies.
• Oversee the setup and configuration of Salesforce environments including Development, QA, Staging, and Production.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Oversee the deployment, scaling, and management of applications on Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure excellent test class coverage for all deployments.
• Perform sandbox refreshes and manage post-refresh activities.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product managers to address release-related issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, release management, or DevOps.
• In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins scripting using Groovy.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Ruby, or Shell scripting for creating and maintaining Jenkins jobs.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform Developer 1 (PD1).
• At least 1 year of experience working with Kubernetes.
