Salesforce CPQ Specialist

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Salesforce CPQ, including product bundles, pricing rules, discount schedules, and approval workflows
• Manage quote templates, document generation, contract management, and renewal processes
• Partner with Finance, Product, and Sales Operations to ensure accurate product catalog management and pricing accuracy
• Develop and manage CPQ logic, validations, automation, and data models
• Troubleshoot CPQ issues, perform root cause analysis, and deploy fixes or enhancements
• Support Sales Cloud functionality, including opportunities, accounts, territories, and forecasting
• Serve as the primary resource for sales reps and managers regarding quoting processes and CPQ functionality
• Deliver enablement sessions, create documentation, and monitor platform adoption

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience administering or configuring Salesforce, including Sales Cloud
• 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick) experience
• Strong understanding of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, pricing methodologies, and product configuration
• Proficiency with Salesforce declarative tools such as Flows, validation rules, and custom fields
• Solid knowledge of Salesforce security models, including role hierarchies, profiles, and permission sets
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex system issues
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certified CPQ Administrator certificate
• Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator Certification
• Experience with subscription or recurring revenue models
• Understanding of approval processes, CLM tools, or order management systems
• Ability to write basic SOQL queries for troubleshooting
