Salesforce Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of analysis for Salesforce production issues, including defects, data issues, and automation failures.
• Triage and prioritize incidents based on severity, business impact, and urgency.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) by reviewing configuration, automation logic, and user workflows.
• Elicit and clarify enhancement requests from business users to translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Salesforce Developers and Administrators to refine scope and validate technical feasibility.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by executing test scenarios and confirming enhancements meet requirements.
• Ensure all changes adhere to established change control, release management, and auditability standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Functional Analyst supporting production environments.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong experience with Salesforce core functionality (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom applications).
• Ability to work onsite from the San Antonio, TX office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with declarative automation such as Flow, validation rules, and approval processes.
• Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, or Advanced Administrator certification.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid-Agile delivery models.
• Experience supporting public-sector Salesforce implementations or regulated environments.
• Strong analytical skills for data review, reporting, and issue analysis.
