Salesforce Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary analyst for Salesforce production support, including triage and root cause analysis for defects, data issues, and automation failures.
• Elicit and clarify enhancement requests from business users and translate them into clear user stories and functional requirements.
• Partner with Salesforce Developers and Administrators to refine scope and validate the feasibility of platform enhancements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by executing test scenarios and documenting results to ensure enhancements meet acceptance criteria.
• Ensure all platform changes adhere to established change control, release management, and governance standards.
• Assist in maintaining and grooming the enhancement backlog to balance new requests against operational priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "Secret" security clearance.
• Strong experience with Salesforce core functionality (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom applications).
• Ability to work onsite from designated Guidehouse office locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with declarative automation such as Flow, validation rules, and approval processes.
• Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, or Advanced Administrator certification.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid-Agile delivery models.
• Background supporting public-sector Salesforce implementations or regulated environments.
• Strong analytical skills for data review, reporting, and issue analysis.
