Salesforce Ads Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build Salesforce solutions for ads GTM, including user experiences, objects, automations, and guardrails for managing advertisers and opportunities.
• Engineer integrations across the ads stack, connecting Salesforce with ads platforms, product catalogs, data warehouses, and billing tools.
• Test, troubleshoot, and document solutions to resolve production issues and maintain clear documentation for financial controls and privacy requirements.
• Partner cross-functionally with Ads Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, and Engineering to translate business needs into durable Salesforce solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced Salesforce development expertise, including Apex, async patterns, and APIs.
• Deep data model expertise across account, opportunity, campaign, and billing domains.
• Proven experience designing and implementing robust integrations between Salesforce and external operational tools or data warehouses.
• Ability to build, test, and deploy scoped solutions using SDLC best practices in fast-moving environments.
• Strong communication skills and a track record of partnering with diverse cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Application Architect.
• Familiarity with digital advertising concepts like advertiser onboarding, insertion orders, and creative approvals.
• Experience with ad-serving, measurement, or revenue operations integrations.
• Software development experience outside of the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience with DevOps management, CI/CD, or Salesforce platform release management.
