About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop individual and team sales action plans to achieve revenue growth
- Create comprehensive sales plans to capture new market opportunities
- Identify, research, and engage potential clients to establish new business relationships
- Anticipate and understand client pain points to convert them into sales opportunities
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and customized solutions
- Track market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities
- Liaise with technical and operations teams to ensure effective execution of business opportunities
- Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team
- Manage sales planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Prepare monthly sales performance reports
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years in sales or business development
- Proven track record in Testing, Inspection, Certification, or Training industries
- Proven leadership ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to tender for government projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in English and other local languages
- Computer literacy
