Responsibilities
- Generate sales from new and existing customers to achieve sales plans
- Acquire and retain customers to increase the client base
- Manage receivables to ensure control and increase cash flow
- Manage and monitor sales leads
- Focus on all lines of business including vertical and preferred sector development
- Perform client analysis on gross margin, volume, and profitability
- Handle customer escalations and decipher customer needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales and business development experience
- Deep familiarity with the Indian shipping and logistics/freight forwarding industry
- Hands-on experience with FCL/LCL, Ocean Freight, and Air Freight
- Experience in B2B sales, negotiation, contracts, and relationship building
- Knowledge of shipping and cargo movement rules and processes
- Graduation is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Freight Forwarding Enterprise or Logistics Technology companies
- Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Logistics & Supply Chain, or International Trade
- Proficiency with digital technology products
- Strong presentation and listening skills
