Responsibilities

  • Generate sales from new and existing customers to achieve sales plans
  • Acquire and retain customers to increase the client base
  • Manage receivables to ensure control and increase cash flow
  • Manage and monitor sales leads
  • Focus on all lines of business including vertical and preferred sector development
  • Perform client analysis on gross margin, volume, and profitability
  • Handle customer escalations and decipher customer needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales and business development experience
  • Deep familiarity with the Indian shipping and logistics/freight forwarding industry
  • Hands-on experience with FCL/LCL, Ocean Freight, and Air Freight
  • Experience in B2B sales, negotiation, contracts, and relationship building
  • Knowledge of shipping and cargo movement rules and processes
  • Graduation is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Freight Forwarding Enterprise or Logistics Technology companies
  • Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Logistics & Supply Chain, or International Trade
  • Proficiency with digital technology products
  • Strong presentation and listening skills
