About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan travel itineraries and book travel including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, and insurance
- Convert enquiries into bookings in person, over the phone, and via email
- Work towards individual KPIs and sales targets in a retail environment
- Build and maintain a customer base of new and returning travelers
- Provide expert travel advice regarding visas, destinations, and travel requirements
- Work full-time on-site in a retail store on a rotating 7-day roster
Requirements
- Great organizational skills and ability to manage a busy calendar and inbox
- A genuine passion for travel and helping others explore the world
- Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs in a high-pressure environment
- Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate complex booking systems
- Enthusiastic and warm communication style to build customer rapport
