About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer experience and serve as a liaison for customer relations
- Assist the sales team with daily calls, product information, order taking, and credit processing
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying complaints and determining solutions
- Upsell customers on new products and promotional items
- Maintain knowledge of markets and growing conditions
- Communicate customer needs and preferences to team leaders, account managers, and buyers
- Organize and provide assistance for special sales and promotions
- Perform daily or weekly warehouse and quality control walks
- Ensure all orders are submitted before scheduled cut-off times
- Process credit memos and other job-related paperwork within set timelines
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
- Proficiency with PC skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork and figures
- Proven problem-solving and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement projects
- High school diploma or college degree preferred
