About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet, assist, and direct customers to appropriate branch staff
- Verify, update, and process customer orders, payments, and invoicing
- Schedule customer deliveries and prepare shipping documentation
- Perform end-of-day cashiering, deposits, and daily balancing
- Maintain accurate records through system entries and process vendor invoices
- Review and process tax exemption certificates for compliance
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to process financial and administrative transactions accurately
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and Microsoft Office
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Minimum of three years of administrative support experience
- Knowledge of state tax laws related to material transactions
