About the role

Responsibilities

  • Greet, assist, and direct customers to appropriate branch staff
  • Verify, update, and process customer orders, payments, and invoicing
  • Schedule customer deliveries and prepare shipping documents
  • Process end of day cashiering duties, deposits, and daily balancing
  • Perform recordkeeping, system entries, and process vendor invoices
  • Review and process tax exemption certificates for sales/use tax compliance
  • Monitor and verify processes for errors to ensure accuracy

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to process financial and administrative transactions accurately
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of state tax laws as they apply to material transactions
  • Previous experience in administrative or financial processing
