Sales Support and Proposal Manager, AVP

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process of creating high-quality RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) for institutional clients.
• Coordinate and produce compelling responses for assigned asset classes within State Street Investment Management.
• Host kickoff calls with Sales and subject matter experts to define scope, strategy, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create, review, and edit bespoke responses for non-standard questions.
• Proofread all drafts to ensure a cohesive narrative and high-quality messaging.
• Serve as a mentor for junior members of the Proposals Management Team and review peer work for quality standards.
• Maintain and expand the RFP database library to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in asset management and/or RFP writing.
• Strong knowledge of asset classes (e.g., equity and fixed income), financial concepts, and investment products.
• Proficiency in the Responsive RFP platform.
• Excellent editing, proofreading, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong quantitative skills and the ability to communicate complex investment data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree, ideally with a specialization in finance.
• Prior knowledge of State Street Investment Management products.
