Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, knowledgeable, and compassionate service to pets and pet parents
• Act as a mentor and role model for new and junior associates on the sales floor
• Promote the health, safety, and proper care of all animals in accordance with company standards
• Assist customers in selecting products and services that best meet their pets' needs
• Support store operations including merchandising, inventory replenishment, and restocking
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual standards

Requirements

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and transactions
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach frequently in a retail environment
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
