Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, knowledgeable, and compassionate service to pets and pet parents
• Act as a mentor and role model for new and junior associates on the sales floor
• Promote the health, safety, and proper care of all animals in accordance with company standards
• Assist with sales, returns, exchanges, and processing transactions accurately
• Support merchandising, inventory replenishment, and store visual standards
• Assist store leadership with operational tasks, opening/closing procedures, and special projects

Requirements

• 1+ years of retail experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
• Ability to lift and move merchandise or animals weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods in a retail environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a specialty retail environment
• Passion for animals and existing knowledge of pet care and nutrition
