About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage seamless sales processes from the pursuit phase through to M3 gate and change requests
- Coordinate internal relationships between supporting teams, including SBUs, Program Managers, and Engineering
- Maintain short-term sales plans and update data within Salesforce
- Lead First Enquiry Check processes for RFx decision meetings and support RFx responses
- Manage day-to-day commercial communication with customers
- Settle and amend business contracts, including NDAs, Development Agreements, and Purchase Agreements, in collaboration with the legal team
- Develop future business opportunity pipelines and perform competitor analysis to support growth strategy
Requirements
- Business experience working with Japanese OEMs
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of experience in the Japanese automotive industry
- Native-level Japanese and Business-level English
- Willingness to work in an office in Ota, Gunma or Tokyo
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international)
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales experience at a Tier 1 supplier working with JOEMs
- Engineering background in Software, Hardware, or Mechanical Engineering
