Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage retail sales and rentals of Volvo GPE equipment to heavy civil, general, building, and utility contractors, as well as municipalities
• Build and foster new customer relationships to increase machine, rental, and parts sales
• Utilize company CRM tools to maintain accurate records of calls, quotes, visits, and sales data
• Prepare weekly sales forecasts and complete competitive business reports
• Develop targeted industry marketing programs and participate in local industry associations
• Maintain deep product application expertise and provide competitive market intelligence to the Volvo Regional Team
• Collaborate closely with product support personnel and the Rental Manager

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related experience in service, parts, or product support operations
• 3-4 years of strong sales experience specifically with construction industry products
• Proven knowledge of distribution-based business models, preferably within the construction equipment industry
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
