Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth within the assigned territory
• Research customer business needs and recommend a mix of products and services to meet their goals
• Evaluate market trends, product innovations, and competitor activity to provide value-added services to customers
• Conduct face-to-face and remote sales, including product demonstrations and delivering sales proposals
• Manage customer accounts by answering questions regarding pricing, availability, and product use
• Drive personal vehicle to visit customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings
• Perform administrative duties including preparing sales budgets, maintaining records, and processing credits
• Coordinate with the transportation department to manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or equivalent relatable experience
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards
• Current automobile insurance with required liability limits
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic PC skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, or as a Chef
• Bi-lingual skills
