Responsibilities
- Conduct market monitoring of trends in oversized transport and competitive practices
- Analyze market data to identify business development opportunities
- Initiate contact with new partners to explore business opportunities
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and cost analyses
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to determine service costs and model offers
- Negotiate rates with clients and manage contract renewals
- Build and maintain business relationships through prospecting and industry events
- Act as a point of contact between clients and various company departments
Requirements
- University degree in business or a related field
- Minimum of two years of business development experience in the service industry
- Ability to analyze needs and design logistics solutions supported by cost analysis
- Proficiency in both English and French (written and oral)
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Availability for regular travel across the North American network
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the transportation or logistics sector
