About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business plan for the assigned territory (Mobile, Montgomery, Foley, and Troy) consistent with company objectives
- Conduct high-quality sales presentations to targeted customers and healthcare professionals
- Achieve quarterly sales goals while adhering to all ethical sales practices and industry regulations
- Implement pre-call planning strategies and utilize targeting principles to maximize field productivity
- Build and maintain positive, interactive relationships with customers, peers, and management
- Gather and utilize market intelligence from offices and pharmacists to implement specific territory strategies
- Differentiate products from competitors and effectively respond to customer inquiries
Requirements
- BS or BA degree required
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to travel within the assigned geography
- Must live within the geography of responsibility or within a reasonable driving distance
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
