About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and market share growth through targeted sales and marketing activities
- Generate sales from existing customers and negotiate deals and discounts within agreed parameters
- Implement sales and marketing strategies, including visibility agreements and merchandising standards
- Execute promotional plans, ensuring stock, staff, and point-of-sale materials are arranged correctly
- Develop brand equity by engaging consumers through events and training bar staff
- Identify and initiate new business opportunities and develop relationships with re-distributors
- Maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and merchandisers
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Commerce, Sales, or Marketing
- 3-5 years of experience in the liquor industry or within an FMCG environment
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong negotiation techniques and commercial strategy skills
- Proven experience in customer relationship management and merchandising
- Ability to evaluate commercial activities and drive results orientation
