About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and profits with new and existing customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across multiple market segments
- Conduct product demonstrations and competitive product comparisons
- Generate new leads and secure new wholesale accounts
- Visit clients to evaluate needs and promote products and services
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and maintain client records
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs and company initiatives
- Answer client questions regarding terms, products, pricing, and availability
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs on occasion
- Ability to work scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outside sales or selling paint-related products
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Associate's degree in business, sales, or marketing
- Previous experience as a Sherwin-Williams Assistant Store or Branch Operations Manager
- Ability to communicate in Spanish
