Responsibilities
- Develop key relationships to locate suitable business opportunities
- Develop new client accounts purchasing company solutions and services in the NY/NJ Financial/Capital Market vertical
- Execute new business development as a hunter
- Utilize solution-selling strategies through cold calling and in-person visits
- Foster consultative relationships to increase business with clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT solution sales experience
- 3+ years of experience selling data management solutions into financial accounts or capital markets
- Excellent knowledge of capital markets, equities, or fixed income securities
- Proven experience in new business development (Hunter role)
- Expertise in solution-selling strategies and tactics
- Experience selling data management, storage, and security solutions
- Strong customer relations and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
