About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop key relationships to locate suitable business opportunities
  • Develop new client accounts purchasing company solutions and services in the NY/NJ Financial/Capital Market vertical
  • Execute new business development as a hunter
  • Utilize solution-selling strategies through cold calling and in-person visits
  • Foster consultative relationships to increase business with clients

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT solution sales experience
  • 3+ years of experience selling data management solutions into financial accounts or capital markets
  • Excellent knowledge of capital markets, equities, or fixed income securities
  • Proven experience in new business development (Hunter role)
  • Expertise in solution-selling strategies and tactics
  • Experience selling data management, storage, and security solutions
  • Strong customer relations and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
