About the role
Responsibilities
- Recruit, lead, and grow a team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs)
- Coach and mentor DSRs to meet performance standards and drive growth
- Monitor and evaluate individual DSR performance regularly
- Develop local networks and relationships with community members and businesses to open new sales opportunities
- Manage DSR inventory to ensure operational effectiveness
- Submit weekly activity plans and reports to the Regional Manager
Requirements
- Proven track record in field sales (retail, fibre, insurance, or similar)
- Experience managing or mentoring a team of agents or representatives
- Ability to drive performance through people and hit sales targets
- Strong local network and community knowledge in the Free State area
- Skills in team coaching, inventory management, and performance reporting
- High level of self-motivation and ability to operate independently in the field
