About the role

Responsibilities

  • Acquire customers and successfully negotiate and close contracts for gravel, excavation, and concrete products.
  • Advise and support customers and construction sites throughout Eastern Switzerland (TG, SG, AR/AI).
  • Maintain relationships with customers, developers, investors, associations, and authorities.
  • Promote the placement of resource-efficient and CO2-reduced building materials.
  • Coordinate projects with internal departments including administration, production, logistics, and quality assurance.
  • Manage customer complaints and support the development of sustainable solutions.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining pricing conditions and performing invoice controls.
  • Participate in digitalization projects and interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in civil engineering or technical/craft training with further education (e.g., Technical Sales Specialist).
  • Extensive experience in the construction industry and an established professional network.
  • Proven track record in construction sales.
  • Knowledge of the Eastern Switzerland market and fundamental understanding of concrete technology.
  • Proficiency in IT applications, specifically SAP, Salesforce, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work independently.
  • Certification as a Federal Diploma Building Material Tester (Mörtel und Beton) is a plus.
