About the role
Responsibilities
- Acquire customers and successfully negotiate and close contracts for gravel, excavation, and concrete products.
- Advise and support customers and construction sites throughout Eastern Switzerland (TG, SG, AR/AI).
- Maintain relationships with customers, developers, investors, associations, and authorities.
- Promote the placement of resource-efficient and CO2-reduced building materials.
- Coordinate projects with internal departments including administration, production, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Manage customer complaints and support the development of sustainable solutions.
- Take responsibility for maintaining pricing conditions and performing invoice controls.
- Participate in digitalization projects and interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering or technical/craft training with further education (e.g., Technical Sales Specialist).
- Extensive experience in the construction industry and an established professional network.
- Proven track record in construction sales.
- Knowledge of the Eastern Switzerland market and fundamental understanding of concrete technology.
- Proficiency in IT applications, specifically SAP, Salesforce, and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work independently.
- Certification as a Federal Diploma Building Material Tester (Mörtel und Beton) is a plus.
