About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and provide support for the Foodservice business in the Mid-Atlantic through Northeast regions
- Nurture existing business relationships with current customers and distribution partners
- Identify and penetrate new accounts within the Foodservice Segment
- Manage new product placements and promotional activities
- Work closely with key distributors to maximize distribution capabilities
- Conduct customer ride-withs and provide training to distributor reps and broker networks
- Participate in regional and national food shows
- Research competitive products and maintain expert product knowledge
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of relevant sales experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field preferred
- Strong sales and business development acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel moderately to significantly
